Description
Specifically designed for use in hospitals, psychiatric wards or detention/youth centers as well as in treatment centers for alcoholism/drug addiction, the SecurAlert emergency response system allows the staff to go about their duties in complete security. Pressing the miniature panic alarm transmitter button alerts the security personnel immediately and the exact room number where the event is taking place is displayed on a numerical or an alphanumerical pager, or on an alarm panel.
How does the SecurAlert duress alarm work?
An alert receiver is installed in each of the designated rooms. This panic alarm receiver, equipped with a light, indicates when a call has been placed from the duress alarm. It is connected both to a central power supply and an alarm control panel. When a call is transmitted by a person using the panic button, a buzzer sounds at the alarm panel and the light corresponding to the room flashes, indicating where the person is.
The information can be instantly transmitted to a pager or other warning devices. The emergency response system can also interface with hospital nurse call systems, school intercom systems or other similar systems.
