Nordicom is composed of a team of dynamic professionals who combine more than ten years of expertise in the field of wireless communication from design to manufacturing.
MAIN LINE OF BUSINESS
Nordicom specializes in the design and the manufacturing of electronic systems (inferfaces) that are generally combined with radio waves. These devices act as "virtual bridges" between either electronic or electric equipment and MAN, linking various systems (alarm, fire, call buttons, etc.) to radio communication systems such as pagers or cell phones. These "interfaces" have a series of parameters that can be modified, resulting in a flexible and variable configuration in order to suit the client’s needs.
DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
Nordicom works closely with its experienced distributors who also specialize in the field of communication. This network of distributors spreads from Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, the Western Canada to USA market. With the help of these distributors, Nordicom has also sold equipment to certain countries in the Orient.

Mr. Luc Harbour is Nordicom’s president since its foundation in 1998. Prior to this, from 1992 to 1998, he was technical director of Clercom. Following the retirement of Clercom president, Mr. Louis Leclerc, Mr. Harbour decides to acquire all of the activities related to Securalert. Beginning of 2006, Mr. Harbour takes on a general manager, Mr. Jacques (Jack) Leroux, so as to permit the continuous growth of the company, with, as priority, the United-States market but also worldwide. The company is now with a complete line of Securalert solutions (radio frequency, ultrasonic and hybrid (radio frequency + ultrasonic)). The priority of the company is to deliver the best solution for each need and be a strong player in the security services market and particularly the correctional services.
